Pokedex Entry
Psyduck, a species of waterfowl, exhibits unique neurological characteristics that manifest as chronic headaches. This condition stimulates an atypical level of brain activity, particularly in regions associated with cognitive function and sensory perception. As a result, Psyduck occasionally demonstrates psychokinetic abilities, which are believed to be involuntary and triggered by stress or pain. In their natural habitats, these birds prefer freshwater ecosystems such as lakes and rivers, often foraging for aquatic invertebrates and small fish. Their behavior includes periods of apparent lethargy, making them vulnerable to predators, yet their occasional bursts of psychokinetic energy can be a defense mechanism. The species appears to have evolved these traits as a means of coping with environmental pressures, possibly as a result of convergent evolution with other neuroatypical species in similar niches.
