Fabulus aurisensus, commonly referred to as Clefable, is a nocturnal mammal adapted to life in secluded mountainous regions. This species exhibits remarkable hearing capabilities, with auditory sensitivity that allows it to detect sounds from over half a mile away, making it an ideal predator of insects and small mammals. Clefable is primarily herbivorous, feeding on roots, fruits, and the nectar of flowers, but it has also been observed consuming small insects, particularly in the spring. Its pale, soft fur reflects moonlight, providing cryptic camouflage against predators in its natural habitat. Clefables are known for their social structure, often forming small family groups that communicate in low-frequency sounds inaudible to most other species. They prefer serene environments, typically found near lakes and streams where they can forage and reproduce away from human disturbances. Their unique locomotion resembles skipping, allowing them to navigate their hilly terrain with agility and sometimes even traverse water surfaces during their playful moonlit activities.
